How to Love

Love is expressed as an action and experienced as a feeling. Yet, love has an essence that resists defining in any single way — it encompasses compassion, determination, tolerance, endurance, support, faith, and much more. If you're in the dark about how to love, this article should give you some food for thought, and perhaps teach you a little bit about how to love yourself, love the world, and love other people just a little bit more

Steps

1. Acknowledge the breadth of love. Love isn't simply about romance — to define it so narrowly is to deprive yourself of the beauty and full extent of love. Love is a feeling, drive, or emotion that we experience usually with people, but also with pursuits, other animals, and nature in general. If you're looking for it, love can be found in many places, situations and relationships.

Love is shared between people — our parents and children, siblings, spouses and partners, dates, friends, neighbors, community members and humanity.
It's found in the passion for the things you do in your life, including work, hobbies, volunteering and the like; it can be found when you're at your most creative, or "in the flow."
Love happens when you embrace the wonderful awesomeness of life, as you acknowledge how incredible this world really is, how intricate and complex life is.
Love is found in observing nature, in spending time with companion animals, and in learning about other living beings in the world.
Love is at its most giving when it is altruistic, shown to a stranger we may never meet again.
Love cannot be pigeonholed — it's never just or only one thing; it happens whenever your heart is open to receiving beauty and wonder of people, things and events around you.

2. Begin to recognize what love isn't. Because love can't be pigeonholed, it's sometimes hard to say it is one things and it isn't another. But in general, people agree that love is selfless, lasting, and larger than yourself. In general, people also agree that love isn't the same as:
Feelings of lust (e.g., purely sexual interest)
Ownership or control (co-dependency or manipulation)
Obsessive worrying (over-involved parenting or a spouse always checking up)
Neediness (insecurity or low self-esteem) and so forth.
Love isn't a tool for using people or binding them to your side; if you find yourself calling these actions "love," it may be a good idea to investigate what other people mean by love.

Learning to Love Yourself

    1. Begin by loving yourself. You can only truly love another being when you love yourself properly. Otherwise, you risk spending a lot of your life projecting insecurities, pain and other negative emotions onto other people. People who do this tend to see the worst in other people so as to avoid facing that insecurity, pain, or negativity in themselves.
Loving yourself is not about putting yourself before others — that's another form of confusion. Loving yourself is about having self-respect, discovering what really makes you tick, and spending your life being true to your real talents.
    2. Forgive yourself and give yourself license to make mistakes. Don't be too hard on yourself. Life is short, and it's about learning. You won't learn unless you make mistakes. Give yourself license to make mistakes, and then love who you are for all your imperfections.

If you love yourself only for being perfect, you're probably making two mistakes:
Thinking that you are perfect when it's probably not the case. Unless you're a new super-breed of human, you're probably deluding yourself a little bit.
Holding yourself at a double-standard. You don't expect everyone else to be perfect, so why do you expect perfection from yourself? Treat everyone, yourself included, by the same standards.
    3. Know what loving yourself feels like. Once you learn to love yourself, you won't feel threatened by others' success (real or apparent). You won't constantly compare yourself to others. You'll be able to share your love freely with other people. You'll feel good about yourself even when you're feeling down. You'll feel proud without being cocky; optimistic without being oblivious; and free without being paralyzed by freedom. You'll feel unafraid to cry.
To love truly is not only having a capacity to give love, but also to gracefully open your heart to receive love. Know that you deserve love. You are worthy of love. The more you feel love in your heart, the more you are able to give love to others.

Starting to Love Others

    1. Actively show love in your words. Ultimately, you are the one who must take action in order to discover love. Because actions can sometimes be misinterpreted, or have unclear motivations, it's often important to communicate what you're doing or feeling in words. Often, people do this by saying "I love you."
Tell people you love that you love them whenever you feel love. Regularly say "I love you" to your child, your parents, your lover, your spouse, or your friend.
When you say the words "I Love You", say them with real conviction. You're not telling a person that you love them just because you want to feel good––you're saying it because you want the other person to feel good!
Know, too, that there are other ways to express love when "I love you" doesn't seem appropriate. "You mean a great deal to me," "You inspire me," "You are the most amazing person I've ever known," and "I am a better person for having known you" are just a few of the ways that people say "I love you" without.

    2. Love unconditionally. Love is something from which you shouldn't expect anything in return. Sometimes, ye shall give without receiving. If you cannot love another person without attaching stipulations or requests to your love — this is often called "emotional bribery," or just bribery — then you're not talking about love at all; you're talking about a transaction.

If your love for someone isn't wanting them to be happy, but rather in asking how that person can enhance your life, or ensure your well-being, you're mistaking love for something else.
Expecting nothing in return doesn't mean you should allow someone to mistreat or undervalue you. It means that giving love does not guarantee receiving love. Although it's helpful to realize that people have different ways of showing their love, if someone abuses your love, be aware of what's happening.

    3. Be tolerant. You cannot say in one breath that you're a loving and caring person and in the other breath say that you hate a particular person or type of person. To do so is to contradict love, which is accepting of even the things you find hard to love in another person.
Allow other people to be themselves. Accept them as they are, not as you want them to be. Healthy love is a steady understanding of who other people are.
Love does not compartmentalize — it sees a person as a whole, rather than focusing on a part you dislike and turning that disliked part into the person's whole. Love doesn't judge; it tolerates the differences, accepting the choices people make for themselves in life.
You may have heard someone say that they love a person but do not like them. In this case, the speaker is likely telling you that they accept the person and respect the dignity of that person as a whole but that they couldn't get along with that person. Love doesn't ask you to befriend a person; it asks you to tolerate, to think beyond your own notions of how the world should be, and to accept differences without judging.
Have an imagination. Imagine the different options out there, waiting to be seized. Don't just find out who you are. Create who you want to be.

    4. Love those who don't love you. When hate is directed toward you, repel it with love and use their hatred as motivation to show that tolerance, kindness, and acceptance are better ways to get along in our communities.

Love teaches you that hateful people are often driven by a lack of self-respect and that they're agitated about all the things they don't like about themselves. This causes them to project this hate onto others. Of all people, people who hate probably need your compassion most.

Branching Out

    1. Accept risk. You cannot love without accepting that there is always a chance of loss or hurt. This is exactly what makes love so powerful: the stakes are high, so the reward is higher. In losing love at times in life, you learn to appreciate the love you do have even more.
Don't let the loss of love ruin you, becoming like Miss Havisham in Great Expectations, embittered all her life, emotionally stuck at the time of the loss. Instead, make the choice to learn from hurtful experiences, however difficult the lesson, and move on to discover the many other people who won't reject your love and who will give freely of theirs.
Think how lucky you are to have people in your life to love, and who in turn love you. Even the love of a single person is a wonderful feeling.
Never seek to make an idol out of any person you love. This is liable to lose the person in the long run, as they'll feel pressured to live up to something you've imposed upon them.

 2. Empathize with other people. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Rather than imposing your own expectations or attempting to control another person's viewpoints or lifestyle, seek to understand how they feel, where they come from, and who they are. Realize how they could also love you back just as well if you open the way. If you're having trouble being empathetic, try these suggestions out for size:

Be curious about the world, and about strangers. Curiosity is wanting to know what something is like; empathy isn't too much different.
Become another person. Not literally, but metaphorically. Try on another person's shoes for a while; see what it's like to be them. This empathy will give you a new appreciation for the challenges (and celebrations) they face along the way.
Listen to other people. Don't put words in other people's mouths. Don't expect you know what they'll say. Let them say it themselves, and pay attention when they do.

    3. Never stop loving. By sharing love constantly, you create a loving environment and you inspire others to do the same thing. You also show the best reflection of your worth to others when you love.
More people showing love in our world means endless forgiveness, a willingness to give people second chances, and a commitment to moving humanity forward, always striving for greater harmony.
Jean Anouilh once observed that "love is, above all, the gift of oneself."[1] In giving of the best of who you really are to others in the name of love, you transcend selfish motives and introspection, and truly seek to appreciate others.
Love is a means by which you start to see things more clearly together, to reach compromises or to collaborate, and to make room for finding a way forward that includes others, not just your ego.

Tips
It does not make you a bad person to desire someone else's love, even if they do not love you. However, to truly love someone, you must let them be free. It is selfish to blame them for your feelings.
There are many types of relationships that involve love, but love itself is a common thread to all those relationships. For example: a mother-son relationship is different from the relationship with a best friend, and both these relationships are different from a romantic relationship. But in each of these relationships, each person loves the other (wants the best for the other). Love is the base of the pyramid. On top of the base, we can add other items such as other common interests (in the case of friends) or sex (in the case of romantic relationships). Therefore, relationships can grow and evolve but the love itself is solid and constant. It does not change.
Remember there is no failure in love, because once you show somebody that you love them, then you have already succeeded in love, even if they don't care.
People become beautiful to you because you love them. In a society obsessed with appearance, it can often seem the other way around but the reality is that love makes a person beautiful and the imperfect perfect.

How to Know if That Person Truly Loves You

There's no guaranteed way to know if a person truly loves you, but there are more than a few ways to read the signs to figure out what is on the mind of your loved one. If you'd like to know if the person you love really loves you, then you have to pay attention to how the person acts, what he says, and what he does when you're together. Though love may mean something different to every person, there are many ways to tell if a person truly loves you instead of just having a crush on you, liking you a lot, or just being momentarily infatuated with you. If you want to know if that person truly loves you, just follow these steps.

STEPS

Notice What The Person Says
 1. See if the person talks about your future together like it's a given. If the person really loves you, then the idea of you being in his or her future is an absolute given, not something that he or she would ever have anxiety or uncertainty about. If the person routinely talks about what you're going to do in the future, about what your lives will look like one, two, or even ten years in the future together, then he's probably in love with you.

True love means seeing a forever with another person. If the person talks about the future and always includes you in it, then there's a good chance he truly loves you.

If the person talks about what your kids will look like, where you'll retire together, or where you'll go for your honeymoon, then he may really love you.

2. See if the person gives you meaningful complements
. There's a difference between saying, "I like your new haircut" and "You have the ability to make me feel better no matter what." If the person gives you complements that show that he really appreciates the important aspects of your character and personality, then there's a good chance he really loves you.

Your loved one doesn't have to shower you will complements all the time -- it's the quality, not the quantity, that makes a difference.

3. See if the person says "I love you" and means it. Remember that there's a big difference between "Love ya!" and "I love you." If your special someone really loves you and tells you this much while looking into your eyes, sounding earnest, and not wanting anything from you, then it's likely that he really means it.

If the person really loves you, then he'll say it for no reason at all, not just because he needs a favor or because it feels like the right thing to say.

4. See if the person really opens up to you. If your loved one really loves you, then she'll really open up to you and tell you what she's thinking, feeling, fearing, and longing for. If she really opens up about her childhood, greatest regrets, most painful moments, or most romantic dreams for the future, then it's likely that she likes you because she's so comfortable telling you anything.

If the person tells you, "I've never told anyone this before..." then there's a good chance that he really loves and trusts you.

5. See if your loved one tells you how much she misses you when you're apart. If you and your loved one are apart, but she still texts you, calls you, or emails you to let you know how much she misses you, then it means she can't imagine her life without you. If you go on a three-week vacation and don't hear a word from her, then it may not be love.

She doesn't have to call you constantly to let you know if she misses you.

6. See if the person is comfortable with pointing out your mistakes. If that person truly loves you, then he doesn't have an idealized picture of you in his mind. If it's truly love, then that person will be comfortable with telling you when you've made a mistake, said something illogical, or acted badly. Though the person shouldn't criticize you all the time, giving you a healthy amount of criticism just means that the person really knows you in and out and accepts your mistakes as well as your best qualities.

If the person never argues with you or never criticizes you, then you should be on the look out. Make sure that the person truly loves you instead of an ideal version of who you are.

7. See if the person truly values your opinion. If the person truly loves you, then he'll care about what you think -- whether it's about his new pair of shoes or the political situation in your country. If he really loves you, he'll ask for your advice and opinions, whether it's on matters big or small. He may feel self-conscious about asking for your opinion, but he'll do it because he loves you.

He doesn't have to ask for your opinion on everything -- only the things that really matter.

Notice What the Person Does

 1. See if the person will listen to anything you say. If the person really loves you, then she'll not only open up to you, but she'll also listen to anything you have to say -- even if she's heard it all before. Though she won't be your lapdog, she will be around to hear your thoughts, and she'll not and respond thoughtfully and not interrupt instead of switching the subject to something she wants to talk about.

Part of being in love is just being able to listen. It's not all about being able to talk.

2. See if the person is always there for you -- even if it's inconvenient. Sure, if you want to grab a drink or a tasty meal, the person is always around, but what about when you need a ride from the airport or you need someone to walk your dog while you're sick? If the person truly loves you, then he'll be there for you during the fun times as well as the not-so-fun times.

If the person is only around when you're happy, lighthearted, or in a good mood, but flees the scene as soon as you're sad or cranky, then that's not love.

Love is about being there for a person -- no matter what. Truly loving a person means accepting all of the positive and negative qualities of that person, and being around during the good times and the bad.

3. See if the person does nice things for you. If the person truly loves you, then he'll do thoughtful things like put gas in your car when you're busy, do your food shopping for you, or bring you chicken soup when you're home sick. These favors don't have to be constant or over-the-top, but if the person truly loves you, then he'll want to do things to make you smile and to make your life easier.

True love isn't just about what you can take from the person, but what you can give too.
If the person really loves you, then he'll do nice things for you without you having to ask. It should be implied that you need a favor or help sometimes. If you have to ask for something nice every time, then that may not be love.

4. See if the person always wants to be around you. Part of being in love is always wanting to be around the person you love, even if it's impractical. If the person truly loves you, then he or she will want to be around you -- a lot. This doesn't mean the person will want to be attached at the hip, but it does mean that the person will try to take as many opportunities as possible to see you.

This doesn't mean that the person will want to be with you 24/7. But if the person can only make time to see you once or twice a month, it's likely that it isn't love.

5. See if the person knows when to give you space. If the person truly loves you, then he'll not only want to be around you a lot, but he'll also know when to give you space and do your own thing. If the person wants to be around you all the time, then that's not love -- it's infatuation. As love matures, two people will realize that they still need to do things separate to maintain their own identities.

If the person wants to be around you every waking moment, then that may be more of a sign of that person's insecurities than true love.

6. See if the person truly understands you. True love is true understanding. Though it sounds lame, the person should really "get" you in order to love you. If the person actually understands your moods, knows what you want and what you don't want, and has an idea of what will make you happy before you may know it yourself, then that may be true love.

It's okay if part of you remains mysterious to the person -- you don't have to be understood 100%, but you do have to have the sense that the other person truly understands where you're coming from most of the time.

7. See if the person wants the best for you -- even if it isn't the best for him. If a person truly loves you, then he'll understand that there are some things that you have to do that may not be the best for him, or may mean that you'll be spending some time apart. If he truly loves you, then he'll understand that you have to spend a summer on a remote island to pursue your career in marine biology, or that you have to go home early to get enough sleep for a test instead of spending the night with him.

If the person only wants what's best for both of you at all times, then he's not really seeing you as a unique individual with your own needs and desires.

8. See if he truly supports you. If he really loves you, then he'll not only be there for the fun times, but he'll be there to help you achieve your goals and move forward in your life. If he truly loves you, then he'll be there in the bleachers during your soccer game, he'll be there to see you defend your thesis, and he'll be there to give you a ride to your job interview. And he'll be there whenever you want to talk about something that means a lot to you.

If he really loves you, then he'll support you as you achieve your goals or pursue your interests, even if they have nothing to do with him.

Notice How the Person Acts

 1. See if the person can truly be himself around you. Part of being love means being completely open to the other person. If you find yourself seeing a whole different side that the person doesn't show the public, then that may be love. If the man you're with is pretty serious or polite in public, but when you're alone, he shows his goofy and silly side completely, then he's really opening up to you and loves you.

If the person shares his deepest emotions with you and is comfortable with it, then that's love.

If the person is comfortable not looking perfect, tripping, or having food stuck in his teeth around you, that means he's okay if you see every side of him.

See if the person is happy to be around you -- even during a bad day. If your loved one has had a very bad day but lights up when he sees you, then that's a sign of love. If he's in love with you, then the sight of you or the sound of your voice is guaranteed to make him feel better -- if only a little bit.

The next time he's grumpy or has a bad day, see how he reacts in your presence.
3. See if the person gives you googly eyes. Though this may be silly, check out your loved one's face the next time you see him. Does he look at you in a goofy, watery, silly and adorable way that can only be described as "googly-eyed"? You'll know it when you see it. You won't get this look all the time -- you can spot it in the morning, or randomly across the dinner table.

You may also be able to catch the person staring at you with the same expression.

4. See if the person is giddy around you. Love makes people feel giddy, weightless, and like laughing for no reason at all. If you see the person acting this way in your presence, then this may be love. Does your loved one seem hyper, excited, and on the verge of laughing for almost no reason at all whenever he's around you? If so, then this may be love.

If you've said something barely funny and the person cracks up, then he may be lovesick.
If the person shows nervous energy or fidgets around a lot around you, then he may just be excited by your presence.

5. See if the person is upset when you're upset. If you're suffering unbelievable emotional pain or are just bummed because you have the flu, then this should rub off on the person who loves you. If he truly loves you, then he'll absorb some of your negative emotions and will be very upset because he'll want you to feel better as soon as you can.
Though he doesn't have to be as upset as you are, the person should clearly be affected by your mood because all he wants is for you to be happy.

Tips

Don't go into things to quick or you might ruin it.
Once you are attracted to someone you will notice that they look at you differently, and they smile a lot when your around.
If you get suspicions that they like you, then you definitely do NOT want to ask them,"Do you like me?" This could make the person more shy and probably never want to try to ask you out.
Be considerate of their feelings; when someone likes you, your actions mean a lot more to them. Be gentle.
Be careful not to mistake friendliness for flirting, you could end up getting hurt.
Love is a strong feeling don't mistake it for just liking or you could get hurt.
When some people do not talk with you it does not mean they don't love you, it may mean they are shy or   they simply
If you want to ask them out and you know they like you, go ahead and do so. Just don't mention how you've known that they don't love you but don't be afraid to go up and tell them.liked you, it always starts a very unstable relationship.

How to Get a Girl to Like You

Every woman is different; if they were all the same, you wouldn't be interested in this one in particular, now would you? There are as many different ways to attract a woman as there are women, so let's go over some basic rules that will win over any woman worth getting.
Steps

Get Noticed
1. Have your own life. If you tend to fall into the "friend zone", this will be especially important. Real girls (girls with a strong sense of purpose and self-worth) don't like guys who have no lives or who cling to them like plastic wrap . Some girls do like that, but for all the wrong reasons—either they're insecure and needy for attention, or they're control freaks who have a need for dominating guys. Unless you want to sign up for one of those scenarios, focus filling your time with your own friendships, interests, hobbies, and goals. This also gives her a chance to do something with you without it becoming a date.

2. Look neat. Keep yourself well groomed and in shape. If you want to get a woman to like you, basic cleanliness and appearance are extremely important. Girls notice things like bad breath, flab, body odour and greasy hair before they notice that winning personality. Give them a chance to see your good qualities by making a good first impression with your appearance.

Stay in shape. Work out regularly: run a mile or two, do some sit ups, get a six pack, etc. Note that while fitness is important, you shouldn't overdo it; having too many muscles can make it look like you care more about going to the gym than fostering meaningful relationships. Also, some girls dislike having the Incredible Hulk as a boyfriend, and it makes you look slightly stupid - thanks to the dumb jock cut-out. So make it clear you're fit, but not thick. In other words, stay fit without being obsessive or a pair of walking biceps.
Have good personal hygiene. Brush your teeth, shave etc. If you can't have access to a toothbrush, carry breath mints. When you take care of yourself, it makes you more appealing to others and it will thus have a positive impact on your level of confidence. Always be sure to smell and look nice, so shower regularly and nothing is worse than the post-gym stink out, so use deodorant.

3. Speak to her. It's unlikely a girl will be at all interested in you if she doesn't know you exist. Make an effort to talk to her, even if approaching her seems scary at first. Highlight your compatibility as friends and more by talking about hobbies and interests that you have in common. Become her friend; she can't get close to you unless you're friends.

Find a hobby you both like. It doesn't matter if it is anything from sports to school. If you both like hockey, invite her to a game. If you both like video games, play one together, or she could cheer you on if she doesn't usually play. Girls are all different in likes and dislikes.

4Make her laugh. Telling jokes or funny stories is a classic way to make a person laugh, but not the only way. Be bold and think of some antics that will make her laugh, like clowning around. Find out which are her favourite comedians, funny movies, or sitcoms. Watch them with her. Tell her to dare you to do something, then do it (as long as it's not illegal, of course). Laughter will come by itself if both of you are relaxed and enjoying each other's company. The more she laughs, the more she wants - and she will want more.
5. Be her friend. Girls don't just fall for random strangers. (Well, some do, but the relationship never goes very far!) Start being friendly to her in a non-invasive way. Get to know her and begin hanging out as friends.
If you're in the same lecture or tutorial as her, find out her name. Every time she walks into the room, smile and wave at her. Sometimes this is all it takes for a young woman to notice you. At the same time though, don't do this too often; It will just end up looking like you're obsessed with her. If you're worried, greet some of your girl friends as they enter, too. If she doesn't seem to see you, when she walks by, just say "Hi" in a friendly way, but don't interrupt the class or any conversation she's holding.

If she's shy, she might just smile back, so don't take this as a sign that she doesn't like you.
If you want your relationship to move ahead faster, don't get stuck in the quicksand - that is the 'Friend Zone'. Sometimes a girl won't go out with you because she's afraid if the relationship ends badly, she'll lose your friendship! To start moving things along, be a little flirty; a woman will only be intimate with a man she knows, trusts and cares about, and this can only be achieved with taking the time to get to know her through friendly chat. However, don't come on too quickly - part of the fun of the relationship is the chase - and have patience. Girls HATE being forced into something, especially on the relationship front.

Stay out of the Friend Zone
1Flirt. Being flirty will help keep you out of the friend zone because it will remind the girl that you're attractive as well as a good friend. When you see or meet a girl you like, make brief eye contact and smile. Strike up a casual, flirty conversation and see how she reacts. If you avoid her eyes and act nervous, she's going to go into overdrive working out what on earth you mean. Girls react mainly on body language and emotions. If you make them feel happy, they'll see you as fun and caring. If you creep them out, they will get nervous - in the options between fight or flight, flight is the most preferable.

Relax. Chill. Don't put pressure on yourself or her by thinking of her as the girl of your dreams. Try not to stress about what will happen if you make a bad joke or say the wrong thing. She may be just as nervous, and small mistakes will likely go unnoticed or will simply be ignored. Don't worry if flirting seems difficult at first. The more you talk to girls, the more relaxed you'll become. Girls often are the most jumpy because of the thousands of different responses their brain puts together at every word. They stress over picking the right one, and that sets them so flustered that they'll barely notice the bad joke from trying to relieve your awkwardness.
Enjoy interacting with this attractive, friendly girl whose path crossed yours. While you don't want to stress yourself out, remember that the final goal is to get her to like you. Don't say things that will seem too forward or offensive. Mostly, the same girl is getting to like YOU.

2. Compliment her. If you really like someone, you probably appreciate a lot of things about her. Why not let her know? If anything is different or new (her hairstyle, nail polish color, shirt, etc.), make note of it. The more unique the compliment, the better received it will be.

Most girls like being complimented on something that makes them distinct, not something that plenty of other women have. If you compliment her appearance, try to be original, perhaps by specifying a particular feature. Better yet, compliment her personality or skills. If you're not sure what's good or bad complimenting, read How to Compliment Girls.
Don't tell her she's beautiful too often. If she's very pretty, it's likely that several other guys have already mentioned it to her; it may sound trite after a while. If you're going to compliment her, stand out by making comments about her personality, how good she is at something, how she does things, etc. Complimenting her appearance too much may make her think you're shallow and maybe that you just want to have sex with her, and you don't want to give that impression.

3Impress her. There's no one-size-fits-all solution here. What impresses one girl might make another roll her eyes. Your best bet is to be yourself. Demonstrate a unique skill, talent or something difficult to do that you're proud of, something that sets you apart from the crowd. Not only will this make her feel good about you, but it can boost your confidence, too.

Be careful not to be cocky. Impress her, but do not boast too much about your great achievements and plans. While self confidence is an attractive quality, extreme cockiness is a huge turnoff for most girls.

4. Break the touch barrier. There are several ways to touch a girl without being sleazy. Hold her coat while she puts it on. Offer her your hand when she's stepping on an uneven surface. Hold out your hand so you can lead her through a crowd, catch her if she stumbles, and hug and high-five her when she's euphoric. If she's worried, put your hand lightly on her shoulder to comfort her. These are all polite ways to get a little closer to someone without being creepy.

Women feel touch more sensitively than most men, even if they put up a tough front, so make sure the touching is light; for example, don't slap her on the back, but pat her on the shoulder. If you see any signs of discomfort, stop!

5. Test the water. After there’s a bit of mutual attraction, start throwing out low-level “bait”—little jokes that hint at interest—to see if she bites. A good baiting statement should be light and playful, and usually ambiguous. "Baiting” is how women flirt too, so be on the lookout for things she might be “joking” about or things that could have a double meaning.
There’s a certain look a woman will give you if you get that right (and if she’s the right girl to begin with). It’s like you gave her the secret handshake. She’ll look back at you for a couple of seconds, wondering if you “get it” or if you just accidentally stumbled on the right words. When she does this, hold eye contact, half-smile, and don’t react otherwise. This is like being one point of the world's high score: it's probably the most fragile moment in the history of both of you. Wait for her to say the next thing, and cross your fingers it'll be yes.

6.  Take your time. Don't be pushy or needy. Nice girls normally need longer time than boys to develop deep feelings. Continue courting her by following the steps above, but don't rush things. If you end up in a relationship with this girl, she'll always remember how you made her feel when you were just getting to know each other.
Make her feel appreciated, not invisible or smothered. Do the chase slowly and gently (but steadily) to reduce fear of sexual advances (if any), avoid looking desperate, and to allow her to get accustomed to a new man in her life,. Do not force the relationship; carefully look for clues on where and when you can see her again.

Ask Her Out

    1. Ask her out. Once you feel comfortable, invite her to go somewhere or to do something with you. Make sure it's something that you're both interested in. If you want, show her your world. Bring her somewhere that you feel comfortable and preferably, where you have or do something you're proud of.

Alternatively, you can express interest in seeing her world. Is she a musician? Ask if you can see her perform. Is she a mathematician? Ask to read her report or thesis.
If you aren't yet ready or comfortable with the idea of sharing your personal lives to that extent, just go out for lunch or do something simple together where you can get to know her better.

2. Make her feel important. Chivalry is not dead. Keep it up by opening doors, holding an umbrella over her, carrying stuff when she has her hands full, lending her your jumper, and basically caring for her. The mark of a true gentleman is to a lady feel like a lady. Women want to feel important and valued. When communicating with her, make an effort to say more rather than less and to keep things personal rather than generic. When you want to ask her out or to do something with you, ask in person, preferably at her home. She needs to know that you're prepared to go the extra mile and not wuss out on her.

 3. Be romantic. The stereotypical icons of romance (roses, candles, chocolate and teddy bears) can only go so far. Think about what really gets that special someone excited. Recognize what makes her unique; find and do things that only she would appreciate. Being romantic means acknowledging how special a person is, and that means demonstrating that you know––better than anyone else in the world—–what makes her unique.

Pay attention when she's talking! Keep a mental list of things that she loves and that make her unique. What are her quirky (perhaps secret) interests, obsessions and fantasies? What makes her eyes light up? Girls are quick to notice if you remember things they told you a long while ago.

4. Confide in each other. Tell her what you really enjoy in life, what gets you excited and find out what gets her excited. Be positive. If you had a bad day, still greet her pleasantly with a big smile. Most importantly, listen to everything she says. Whether she talks about herself, her family, or her hobbies, pay attention. Some things could be useful or important to know later in the relationship. Nod to show that you're listening, and also respond to what she says so she knows that you really are listening. Women are very appreciative of guys who demonstrate sincere interest in what they say.\

5. Be yourself. You are unique. Be the authentic you. Bring out your best. Let her know you as who you truly are. Use your talents, gifts, and strengths and let yourself be known. If you have great sense of humor, share that with her. If you love science, music, poetry, politics, or sports, let her know what you love. The right woman will fall for you and love you just the way you are.

Tips

Don't be afraid to smile. Even if you don't have much of a smile, it will make you seem down-to-earth and friendly. A calm smile will make you more approachable, especially if you're just getting to know her.
Using good manners helps to make her notice you. For example, open doors for her and pull a chair out for her to sit (or the whole "laying your jacket over a puddle" thing). If you're just getting to know her, more subtle manners will help you. You don't want to creep her out by randomly pulling out her chair in the cafeteria if she barely knows you! And when you do this, don't stand there grinning and waiting for her to thank you profusely. Pull out her chair, let her get seated, and then go sit down. Open the door for her, continue listening if she's talking, and come in after her. Continue with what you were doing. If she does thank you, just nod and smile or say "My pleasure." No big deal.
A girl likes a guy who is true to himself. It shows that he isn't fake and that he will most likely not be playing her. Pretending to conform to an image in an attempt to impress her will instead make it more difficult for her to trust you when she finds out, which will happen eventually.
If you know her birthday, maybe you could bring her a gift card for her favorite store (it doesn't have to be a lot of money; she'll appreciate it just the same) or that new scarf you've heard her talking about with her friends. Just the fact that you 1) remembered her birthday and 2) brought her a gift will make you stick out as a sweet guy in her mind.
Remember, the girl you fancy is not a trophy to be won or just a goal to achieve; you are finding out if your relationship will work for your whole life. If you both go into a relationship like that, whatever happens will be best for both of you.
Don’t talk about dates you have had with other people, especially on a first date. You can find better, kinder things to talk about.
Don’t talk about yourself the whole time. People have a tendency to talk about themselves too much, especially when they are nervous. If you feel like you need to say something, ask a question instead. Remember to listen as much as you speak.
Be honest. Never lie to a girl just to impress her.
Try not to compare her with other girls you have been on dates with, even in your mind.
Understand that it's an urban myth that most girls like "bad boys" best. Many girls love a sweet guy, rather than the jerk who only likes them for looks. If you try to be a sweet rather than "bad" guy, you will have longer lasting relationships that are strong, too!
Remember that if she doesn’t fall for you, it's not a failure; you will learn more about yourself and eventually you will find the woman you are meant to be with. There is no perfect way to get every woman to like you. But as you become a better person, you will find you attract more people to you.
If you want to show a girl how much she means to you, really spend some time getting ready for a date. All-out date activities are not just cute, but show your date if you really did spend the afternoon preparing things for the date.
Take the the lead in your courtship. For example, initiate the date, decide what to do during the date and decide when to end the date. This reduces the chances of relationship failure or rejection of you later.
As you approach her don't point your body towards her she will see this as you being needy.
To get girls online, you need your post high school education course information and one useful personal interest, or two to three useful personal interests or hobbies written in you own words. To be able to call a girl at will to your place, you need to improve the quality of your work and property, and have your business or career already running.

Warnings

Be hygienic. You have no idea how much this will help you! Body odor and uncleanliness are universal turn-offs. That includes bad breath, flatulence, burping, and foot odor. Shower and brush your teeth daily (right before you see her is ideal), trim your nails, and wash your clothes and shoes regularly. Some girls find the smell of cigarette smoke or strong cologne offensive.
Too much of anything is bad. Being too preoccupied with her, using every single opportunity to touch her, showering her with too many compliments, and cracking enough jokes to rival a stand up comedian can all ruin your chances with a girl. Try to be a little more casual at first.
Don't be too perverted when flirting. It could be a sign that you want her body and not her. A lot of girls don't like it when boys are all gross and talk about body parts. Some girls (very rarely) like to be all gross and perverted, but most of them don't.
Don't try to be perfect, and don't expect perfection from the girl you like. Nobody is perfect. Accept that both of you have flaws, make mistakes, and sometimes have bad days.
Never try to make her jealous. This tends to backfire on the guy who does this. If you're trying to find out if, in fact, she does like you, ask one of her friends. Or compare how she acts around you and around other guys. If she acts differently around you, then something is there. Trust your instincts. If you believe there's good chemistry between you and her, be patient and let it develop. Do not tell or show her about your current and past dates with other women even if she asks over and over again; if you can show loyalty for her, the relationship will go smoother faster. A woman may take this relationship investment seriously, and looking and showing interest by you in other beauties in a restaurant in front of her can be seen as inconsiderate and insensitive, so focus your eyes and effort only on her on this date.
Don't tell her dirty jokes; it's rude. It's guaranteed that 99 percent of girls out there won't appreciate you cracking up about your body parts and stuff like that. They'll just think you're disgusting and immature and stay away from you. But the other one percent love it!
Always do the chase, courtship or ask personal questions in person (face to face) when you have the ability to do so. You must show the courage, confidence and courtesy to do so. If you have her street address and you live in the same city, never ask personal questions be email. Do not use contact methods that can be easily falsified.
Don't stalk her. If she doesn't want to date, it means that she doesn't want a stalker either. Move on to another girl.

UN says Syria death toll above 100,000

UN leader Ban Ki-moon says more than 100,000 people have been killed in the Syrian civil war.
Ban and US Secretary of State John Kerry told reporters before talks at the UN headquarters that there could be no military solution to the 28-month-old conflict.
While Syrian activists say well over 100,000 people have been killed, the UN has been more cautious about the toll.
But Ban said: "More than 100,000 people have been killed, millions of people have either been displaced or become refugees in neighbouring countries.
"We have to bring this to an end, the military and violent actions must be stopped by both parties and it is thus imperative to have a peace conference in Geneva as soon as possible."
The US and Russia have vowed to press for a follow up to a peace conference held in Geneva last year, which set out a transition plan.
Divisions between Syrian opposition groups and diplomatic hurdles thrown up by President Bashar al-Assad's government have blocked efforts to call a new meeting.
Syrian National Coalition president Ahmad Jarba is in New York and was to hold talks with Kerry ahead of a meeting with UN Security Council envoys on Friday.
Ban has previously said he would like a peace conference in September. But UN diplomats say the conflict is now so bitter that they doubt the two sides can be brought to the negotiating table.
Kerry said there is "enormous levels of suffering, suffering that is growing by the day which requires all of us to work even harder to try to bring about peace negotiations".
He added: "There is no military solution to Syria, there is only a political solution. That will require leadership in order to bring people to the table."

1. The Most Important Thing in Investing in the Next Generation of Christian Leaders is to Point Them to God.

Tim opened the evening by telling all in attendance that this was not about a cd, but rather to place our focus on God.

2. Investing in the Next Generation of Christian Leaders Takes Intentionality.

Next generation ministry must be a primary focus. Tim has dedicated the majority of his last year of ministry to developing Greenhouse and The Minions.

3. To Invest in the Next Generation of Christian Leaders, You Must be in it for the Long Haul.

Young Christian leaders are developed in crock pots, not microwaves. They also have a deep desire for authentic, long-lasting relationships.

4. Allow for Mistakes When Investing in the Next Generation of Christian Leaders.

Young Christian leaders make plenty of mistakes. I certainly did (and still do). It takes people like Tim who stay with them through the good and bad to one day proudly watch God do great things through their lives.

The 9 Types of Facebook Users

You know the type. He created a Facebook account in 2009 and hasn't touched it since. No profile picture. No status update. Occasionally, someone tags him in a photo, but does he even receive the notification?
Try this one: She waits, quietly. She doesn't "like" things, and she definitely doesn't comment. In fact, she rarely does anything at all besides slink through Facebook like a jungle cat, silently judging your waistline in your beach vacation pictures.

"WAHALA don sele" Housewife dies during $ex with lover in Lagos Hotel

If Glory Abbey had known earlier that death was lurking around the corner; she would have probably turned down the request of his lover for $ex that day to avert the unfortunate tragedy. However, while men proposes, God disposes.
This is the story of a housewife who reportedly followed her lover to a popular hotel in Lagos and died in a marathon $ex.
The $ex-crazed man whose identity was still unknown at the moment absconded from the hotel room without hotel management’s knowledge when the lady took her last breathe.
It was learnt that the incident, which occurred at Kings of Queens Hotel, at 11, Otunba Oladokun Street, Lanre Bus Stop, Igando, Lagos State still remains a mystery to residents of the area.
Manager of the hotel, Saliu confirmed that the deceased actually came to the hotel with the young man and they both booked for a room.
“After staying for several hours in the room, the man came out and told the security men that he wanted to buy some food outside and he did not return to the hotel,” he said.
According to him, they were shocked to see the lifeless body of Glory just after few hours without any physical injury inflicted on her.

“Since Age 9, I Had To Pay My Father With S*x Before He Lets Me Take Part In Church Activities” – 16-Year-Old Girl Speaks Out

A father has been arrested and charged with defiling his own young daughter, who told police that he would demand s*xual favors in exchange for outings with friends and participation in school activities.

The 46-year-old Utah resident, whose name is being withheld to protect the identity of the alleged victim, was taken into custody last week and charged Wednesday with nine counts of r*pe and a single count of
sodomy on a child.
According to the accuser, who is now 16 years old, the abuse first started when she was only 9 years old.
Over the past seven years, the teen told police that her father, who also has two other children, defiled her over 50 times.
The alleged victim explained that as she got older, her father would have s*x with her more frequently. Most recently, the teen said that they would have encounters three to four times a week.
The horrific allegations came out when the 16-year-old told a friend at a church camp about the s*xual abuse, asking her to keep it a secret.
The friend, however, shared the information with her parents, who then relayed it to their church bishop. The cleric, in turn, reported the allegations to officials at the Division of Child and Family Services, who notified police on June 19.
During her interview with investigators, the unnamed teen said that whenever she wanted something or wanted to go out, she would have to ‘pay’ her father with s*xual acts.
According to a police report, earlier this month, the 46-year-old man forced his daughter to have intercourse with him four times in exchange for allowing her out-of-town best friend to visit.
When the friend left, the father told his daughter ‘that it was time to pay up,’ the report stated.
The paper reported that after talking to police officers about the alleged abuse committed by her father, the 16-year-old made an emotional plea no to arrest him, saying that it would ‘tear her family apart’ and hurt her siblings.

Chromecast: Google's best weapon to breach the TV biz

When it comes to its ambitions for television, Google's hoping that the third time's the charm.
This morning the company unveiled Chromecast. Google's latest foray into the television is a low-cost stick that plugs into a HDMI input to let a wide swath of smartphones, tablets, and devices using the Chrome browser seamlessly fling what they're playing onto the TV.
Google argues that it is solving a unique problem, but it really isn't. In fact, a myriad of devices already exist to do just that. But by coming out with a cheaper, more innovative offering, Google fired its loudest shot across the bow of Apple TV and all of the other streaming TV peripherals with the Chromecast. And at $35, it claims to have a winner.
The television is "the most immersive experience in the house," said Sundar Pichai, Google's head of Android, Chrome, and apps at the breakfast unveiling Wednesday in San Francisco. He noted more than 200 billion online videos are watched globally by users every month, and Netflix and YouTube combined represent nearly half of peak downstream Internet traffic in North America.
"It's very difficult to get your online media onto your television in your house," said Pichai.
True enough. It has been difficult, but largely only for Google.
