( END TIME) NASA Finds Message From God On Mars Written On Tablets In A Martian Cave

NASA announced today that its Curiosity Rover has found an unambiguous message from God written on tablets in a Martian cave.

According to an official press release two giant stone slabs the size of small elephants were located deep inside a cavern abutting Aeolis Mons, a large mountain. Upon one tablet is a copy of the Ten Commandments and the text of John 3:16 written in 12 languages – including English, Spanish, Chinese, Basque and Hebrew. On the other tablet is a simple message in English reading “I am real.”

According to top scientists who have studied the discovery extensively, these findings may have definitively established Christianity as the one true religion.

“This is amazing,” says Syms Covington, an Australian researcher working for NASA’s Mars Exploration Program. “We went into the cave looking for water, and we found proof of God’s existence instead.

“I mean how else did those tablets get there? I can tell you one thing: there’s not a single atheist inside NASA’s control room now. What we saw was jaw-dropping.”

NASA’s Curiosity rover arrived on Mars in August of last year with a mission to explore the Martian climate and geology for signs for habitability.

Thus far the mission has been a success, with the discovery of an ancient seabed and chemicals needed for life suggesting that Mars was once suitable for life. However the tablets, both of which are signed “Peace and Love – Yahweh,” represent the rover’s most significant find to date, and is perhaps the most important scientific event in history.

“When people find out about this, they will demand change in our society,” explains a political scientist at Georgetown University. “Democracy will have to give way to theocracy. We’re gonna have to build more churches and reintroduce prayer into schools. Abortion is defiantly going to be illegal within a few months.”

Despite its potential significance, Covington fears that the Earth-shattering discovery may not make the impact it should.

“Unfortunately, the mainstream media is so anti-Christian, they might not even pick up this story,” he explains. “But God is real. We have proof. And everyone deserves to hear the truth.”

Next Mars rover will hunt for life

Washington - The next robotic rover to explore Mars in 2020 should scour the surface of the red planet more closely than ever for signs of past life, a Nasa science team said on Tuesday.

The US space agency's science definition team (SDT) released a 154-page document containing its proposals for the next Mars rover, after five months of work.

The mission would use microscopic analysis for the first time, collect the first rock samples for possible return to Earth and test ways to use natural resources on site for a future human trip, it said.

The Mars 2020 mission would build on the work being done by Nasa's Curiosity rover, which has been exploring the red planet since August 2012 and has already found evidence of potentially habitable environments.

The mission would present "a major step toward seeking signs of life," said Jim Green, director of the Planetary Science Division at Nasa headquarters.

Technology
The next step is for Nasa to analyse the recommendations and issue a call for scientific instruments, which could include higher resolution imaging devices, microscopes, fine scale minerology, chemistry and organic carbon detection tools to scan for biosignatures on the surface of Mars.

"To combine this suite of instruments would be incredibly powerful," said Jack Mustard, SDT chair and professor of geological sciences at Brown University.

The rover would collect about 31 samples that might someday be returned to Earth, representing "a legacy for understanding the development of habitability on the planet", he told reporters.

The US space agency has not yet devised the technology to bring the cache back to Earth without disturbing its contents, and no plans have been set for any potential sample-return.

The next Nasa mission to Mars is a November launch of Maven, an orbiter that will study how Mars interacted with the solar wind and lost its atmosphere.

The European Space Agency will follow in 2018 with its ExoMars rover.

John Grunsfeld, NASA's associate administrator for science, said the 2020 Mars rover would get the US space agency to the next step in the "quest to answer the grand questions," before a planned human mission in the 2030s.

"Do we see any evidence of past life in those habitable environments?" he said, alluding to the aims of the future missions.

Cabinet-level officials will review security and economic issues, which reflect growing ties but also deep-seated differences between the two countries.
Biden said an open internet is in both nations' interests and "outright cyber-enabling theft that US companies are experiencing now must be viewed as out of bounds and needs to stop”.

Arik Unveils New Generation Plane print Print

Published on July 11, 2013 by Iyanu oluwaArik Air, Nigeria’s largest airline, unveiled its latest plane on Wednesday, saying the new Airbus 330-200 twin-engine aircraft with a capacity of 217 seats has increased its fleet to 24.
The latest addition marks the first of four A330 aircraft to be delivered over the coming year, the airline said in a statement released at the event.
The new A330 aircraft will complement Arik Air’s long-haul wide body fleet, which currently consists of two A340-500 aircraft.

Airk said the A330 series offers a two class configuration with 30 Premier Business Class seats and 187 Economy Class seats, compared to 36 Premier Business Class seats and 201 Economy Class seats in the A340 aircraft.
“The Premier Business Class product is carefully tailored to meet the discerning business travellers’ needs. Passengers will have individual secluded booth areas that contain flat beds featuring an in-built massage system complete with a hand held 3.5 inch LCD screen unit controlling seat and lighting functions,” the airline said.
Arik said the latest acquisition enables the airline to upgrade the Lagos- Johannesburg route, replacing the existing B737-800 aircraft currently flying between the two cities.
It also enables Arik Air to develop long haul destinations such as China, UAE, Brazil and more cities in the United States and Europe.
All passengers on the new A330-200 will have access to audio video on demand system, with a wide selection of Hollywood and Nollywood films, the airline said.
Sources said the latest plane is the first airbus aircraft owned by Arik, the rest are on lease.

New over-the-air features available for LG Optimus G Pro

LG announced today that an over-the-air update for the LG Optimus G Pro is now available for users to download.
One new feature is Smart Video, which is similar to (if not exactly the same as) Samsung's Smart Pause. It means video can be set to pause when users turn their heads and look away. There are also two new camera functions, one of which is Dual Camera (an offshoot of the G Pro's Dual Recording mode), which takes photos from both cameras at the same time.
The other feature has already been available in the international unlocked version, and it makes it possible to pause and restart video while recording.
Moreover, improvements to the device's Quick Remote functionality with LG Smart TVs have been added, and the smartphone can now be used to input text on TVs.
Lastly, color emoticons have been added for messaging, and the G Pro's LED light around its home button can be customized. Notifications from favorite contacts can also be denoted with a specific color.
The 5.5-inch device is available exclusively on AT&T. Though its large screen may not be for everybody, we were impressed by its vivid display and swift Snapdragon 600 processor.

A boulder-sized meteor that slammed into the moon in March caused the biggest lunar explosion ever observed by NASA.
The strike, which packed as much punch as five tons of TNT, was so bright that anyone looking up at the moon at that moment could have spotted it -- no telescope required.
"On March 17, 2013, an object about the size of a small boulder hit the lunar surface in Mare Imbrium," said Bill Cooke, from NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office, in a statement on Friday. "It exploded in a flash nearly 10 times as bright as anything we've ever seen before."
NASA has been monitoring the moon for signs of explosions caused by meteoroids for the past eight years, detecting more than 300 strikes since the program began. One of the program's goals is to identify new streams of space debris that pose a potential threat to the Earth-Moon system.
A NASA satellite orbiting the moon is on the hunt for the newly formed crater, which scientists estimate could be as wide as 66 feet.

6 keyboard shortcuts every computer user must know

The great thing about computers is that they can work much faster than you can. But telling them what to do is often a slow process. Well, there's a fix.

I'm talking about keyboard shortcuts. To perform a keyboard shortcut, you press two, three or sometimes four keyboard keys at once. A single, quick shortcut can accomplish the same thing as moving your mouse across the screen and clicking through several menus or hunting down buttons.

There are dozens of them, from pressing Ctrl+A to select everything in a window to pressing Ctrl+B to make selected text bold. Press Ctrl+F to find a word in a document or web page. When you want to print something, press Ctrl+P. (Most of the shortcuts are the same on a Mac, except you use the CMD key instead of the CTRL key.)

The six shortcuts below are the most essential to know, however. Get in the habit of using them, and your mouse will soon start collecting dust!

CTRL+S (Save)

The first thing I stress to anyone learning to use a computer is SAVE YOUR WORK OFTEN! You never know when the program you're using, or your entire computer, is going to crash.

For the last decade, many programs have included auto-save features that save your work every 5 to 10 minutes. That's fine as a last resort, but I still prefer to make a habit of manual saving. It comes in handy when you use programs that don't have auto-save.

That's why the CTRL+S shortcut is so handy. It works in nearly every program in existence and takes only a fraction of a second to type. You don't have to take your hands off the keyboard and move the mouse cursor up to the Save icon.

When writing, I generally press CTRL+S after every few paragraphs I type or whenever I pause for a new thought.

CTRL+Z (Undo)

One of the best things about using a computer for content creation is the Undo feature. With a typewriter, handwriting or traditional photo manipulation, undoing a mistake is a major process.

With a computer, the Undo button gives you the freedom to experiment and make mistakes, and then change things back if you don't like it. I use it all the time when editing photos.

Many computer users don't even realize the Undo feature exists.

Using the CTRL+Z shortcut, you can undo a mistake very quickly. Hitting CTRL+Z several times will often undo the last several changes. If you go too far back, hit CTRL+Y to Redo.

CTRL+C (Copy), CTRL+V (Paste)

Another joy of using a computer is copying and pasting. It makes moving text, photos, files, folders and everything else a breeze.

Every program has Copy and Paste icons, and if you right-click on files and folders in Windows, you'll see Copy and Paste as options. For those who do a lot of copying and pasting, however, the keyboard shortcuts are a big time-saver.

Just use the mouse to select what you want to copy, hit CTRL+C, click the mouse where you want to paste, and hit CTRL+V. You're done!

Bonus tip: In cases where you want to move something instead of copy it, use CTRL+X (Cut) instead of CTRL+C.

CTRL++(Zoom in)

Thanks to larger, high-resolution monitors for laptops and desktops, many websites and programs are hard to read. The text just looks too small.

Instead of moving closer to the screen and squinting, hit CTRL++ (that's a plus sign) a few times. This will increase the zoom level in most browsers and some programs. To zoom out again, just hit CTRL+- (that's a minus sign). To reset the zoom level to 100 percent, hit CTRL+0 (that's a zero).

Bonus tip: If you already have one hand on your mouse, you can also hold CTRL and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

CTRL+ALT+DEL (also known as "the 3-finger salute") or CMD+OPT+ESC (OS X)

Years ago, this was the first keyboard shortcut most people learned. In the olden days of computers, it rebooted your computer if it was acting up, which happened quite a bit. You could solve a lot of problems with these three keys.

Bonus history: CTRL+ALT+DEL was first added to computers in the '80s by David Bradley, an engineer at IBM. He wanted a quick way to reboot test systems that were locked. Ironically, he never intended for the public to actually use it.

In modern computers, CTRL+ALT+DEL either brings up Windows Task Manager, or a list of options including Task Manager. Task Manager is useful for killing programs that are acting up or unresponsive. Plus, you can see what is slowing down your system.

If you are using a Mac, it's not uncommon for programs to freeze and you get to see the spinning beach ball of death. When this happens, press the CMD+OPT+ESC keys, select the offending program and force quit. Restart the program and you're on your way again.
