Prosper Ayuk a 19 year old girl representing Obubra LGA beat 17 other beauty queen in the Cross River Most Beautiful Girl 2014, during the pageant's grand finale and award night which held in the state's capital city, Calabar on 24th of May.
Akpabuyo and Boki LGA contestants emerged 1st and and 2nd runner up respectively.

*Miss Congeniality : David Jane ( Ikom)

*Best Evening Gown : Ayuk Prosper ( Obubra)
The maiden edition with the theme " Essence Of The Woman" was indeed a massive turnout with headline celebrities, notable beauty queens, top government officials,super models and Calabar residents.
Several security details were deployed across the venue to provide security for the pageant with regards to the state of the nation.
The very colourful event ended with the presentation of the brand new car to the queen at the event venue. She is also to get N500,000, a fully furnished apartment, represent Cross River In MBGN and other entitlements. The 1st and 2nd runner up have also been given their cash prizes of N100,000 and N50,000 respectively.
