Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Samuel Ortom has revealed the Federal Government's plans to roll out made-in-Nigeria vehicles into the market next month, June 2014. The Minister made this known when he received a delegation from Automobile Peugeot, France in his office in Abuja, Punch reports.

Google must delete search results on request, rules EU court

The top European court says you can ask Google to change or delete search listings that refer to you, giving you a "right to be forgotten".

European lawmakers have told Google to forget about it. The top European Court has ruled that citizens have a "right to be forgotten" and can ask the Big G to delete search results about them.

In what could turn out to be one of the biggest shake-ups to online privacy legislation, the European Union Court of Justice decided Tuesday (PDF) that people can ask Google and other online entities to edit or erase online search results if those results contain information that might infringe the privacy of the person in question.

Apple iOS 8 features 'leaked' ahead of conference.

Some Apple users complained that the new iOS 7 operating system made them feel nauseous.

Apple is reportedly planning to include split-screen multitasking in its forthcoming iOS 8 operating system, as well as high-definition audio playback.

Nigeria Girl Who Escaped Boko Haram: I'm Now Terrified of School


One of the teenagers who escaped from Islamist extremists who abducted more than 200 schoolgirls says the kidnapping was "too terrifying for words," and she is now scared to go back to school.

Sarah Lawan, a 19-year-old science student, told The Associated Press that more of the girls could have escaped but that they were frightened by their captors' threats to shoot them.

She spoke in the local Hausa language in a phone interview from Chibok, her home and the site of the mass abduction in northeast Nigeria.

"I am pained that my other colleagues could not summon the courage to run away with me," Lawan said. "Now I cry each time I come across their parents and see how they weep when they see me."

New video of dozens of abducted Chibok school girls has been released by Boko Haram. The girls, numbering about 130, said to be held at Sambisa forest, a border between Cameroon and Nigeria, are seen praying in Arabic in the video.


In the video, Boko Haram leader said he's ready to do a deal to free some or all the girls. He said;

Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway yesterday Thursday May 8th took to the streets of Los Angeles to raise awareness for the Bring Back Our Girls cause. She was joined by her husband Adam Shulman and a few others. During the protest, Anne grabbed a megaphone and said...

"These Nigerian girls are part of the 5% who are able to seek an education, they were taken from their beds in the middle of the night by cowards, cowards who tell them that girls do not deserve an education. 

Do we agree with these cowards?"
 she asked the crowd, then yelled,
"What do you want?"
 the crowd replied "Our girls!"




Chris Brown sentenced to 1 year in jail

But thankfully he will only spend 131 days or less in jail for time already spent in jail.
TMZ report::Chris Brown was in court Friday afternoon, where he admitted he violated his probation by getting into a fight with a dude in Washington D.C.
