Overcoming Doubt

I was lifting with the owner of my gym. She was doing clean and jerks. I was squatting.
In between sets, I asked if she had ever competed in an Olympic weightlifting meet. “You should do one. They are a lot of fun and you’re definitely built to be a weightlifter.”
“That’s what everyone tells me, but I don’t know,” she responded. “Competitions make me kind of nervous. I just think: what if I miss this lift and all of these people see it?”

Let’s pause for a moment.

UK Foreign Prisoners!

Hundreds of Nigerian criminals will be sent home to serve out prison sentences under a deal set to be struck by ministers within weeks, according to a report by UK Daily Mail

Talks are continuing into reaching a compulsory prisoner transfer agreement, which could see more than half of the 500 criminals from Nigeria currently in UK jails repatriated.
Prisons minister Jeremy Wright told MailOnline how 'more foreign prisoners must serve their sentences in their own countries'.

How to delete your @Instagram account.

Here's how to say goodbye to sepia filters and walk away from Instagram, without any trace.

To delete your Instagram account, visit Instagram.com and sign in to your account. Next, select your account name in the upper right corner, and then select Edit Profile.

On the resulting page, scroll down, and look for the link labelled "I'd like to delete my account." Instagram will ask you why you want to delete your account--though not before referring you to a page to soothe your concerns about its privacy policy changes.

Select your reason you are leaving Instagram, then enter your password where prompted, then press but button labelled "Permanently deactivate my account."
NB:
Keep in mind that Instagram doesn't have an account deactivation feature like Facebook where you can revive your account later (which admittedly seems a little wonky considering Facebook owns Instagram), or a reactivation grace period like Twitter has.
Once you press that red button, your account--and everything you've published to it--will be permanently removed, and you won't be able to recover it or reuse your old account name. So before you press that button, make sure that you never want to see a sepia-filtered square photo of a really good latte again.

How to change your network location from public to home #WINDOWS 7

Step One

How to run Android apps on your PC

There are various methods of running Android apps on a PC, but these can be tricky to set up and vary greatly in the levels of performance and compatibility provided.

Genymotion is relatively simple to install and provides pre-packaged Android installations which you can download and run on your PC or Mac. Best of all, it’s fast and supports accelerated graphics quick enough even to run some 3D Android games.

How to take screenshots on Android phone #DIY

You just made it to the top of the leaderboards in your favorite game and want to show off to your buddies. The problem is, most of them live far away and there's always the chance you'll be knocked off the board by some punk kid before you get a chance to brag about your exploits. The easiest way to flaunt your victory is to take a screenshot of your accomplishment and send it to your friends. There's just one problem: You have an Android phone and you don't know how to take a screenshot.

What to consider when building Andriod App.

Between all the different brands, phones, versions, and screen sizes, Android is an operating system used by nearly 4,000 distinct devices. For developers, this can mean an all-nighter or ten. For you, it could mean anything from needing to find more experienced developers to extending deadlines, longer build times, and some nasty headaches along the way.

3 DIY APP BUILDERS FOR NON-PROGRAMMERS #DIY

Here at Idea to Appster, we’re not very big proponents of going the DIY route. (Unless you’re doing something super cool like launching a rocket with Alka-Seltzer or performing culinary wizardry). We do recognize, however, that money doesn’t grow on trees and that there are arguably cheaper, arguably faster, arguably easier ways to build an app than hiring a professional developer. Below, we’ve got three DIY app builders you may consider. Don’t worry, our feelings won’t get hurt.

Remembering #Aluu4 - one year later

It's exactly one year since these four young students of the University of Port Harcourt were brutally murdered in Aluu community in Port Harcourt, Rivers State (they were killed Friday morning Oct. 5th 2012). We are still hoping that justice will one day be served. Continue to rest in peace, Tekena, Ugonna, Chiadika and Lloyd.
