Miley Cyrus Loses Vogue Magazine Cover

Miley Cyrus has lost her chance to feature on the cover of Vogue magazine after her scandalous performance with Robin Thicke at the recent MTV Video Music Awards was branded ‘distasteful’.
The 20-year-old singer’s duet with Robin Thicke featured Miley twerking and gyrating up against the R&B singer and using a foam finger in a sexually suggestive way at the ceremony in New York City last month made headlines across the world. One person watching watching who didn’t enjoy it was Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour who has decided to drop shots of Miley intended for the cover of the December issue of the fashion bible because of her ‘distasteful’ performance. A source told the MailOnline: ‘Anna found the whole thing distasteful. She decided, based on Miley’s performance, to take the cover in a different direction.’ Miley was seen on stage in a flesh-coloured, latex bikini, wagging her tongue and making sexual facial expressions while she danced up against Robin as they performed his hit ‘Blurred Lines’.
The former ‘Hannah Montana’ star attracted an avalanche of criticism on social media and from watching celebrities. Speaking about her twerking, One Direction star Harry Styles said: ‘I think it’s quite inappropriate. Especially for the age groups that it’s aimed at. I think it’s, you know, promoting promiscuity.’
Describing Miley’s appearance as ‘sad’, Cyndi Lauper said: ‘That was girl gone wild. So sad, so sad … I just felt like that was so beneath her and raunchy, really raunchy. It wasn’t even art.’

Uche Jombo builds multi-million house in Lekki

Actress and movie producer Uche Jombo is building a massive house in the Lekki area of Lagos and this is authoritative. The house, which I hear is quite massive, is located around Alpha Beach Road after Lekki second gate opposite Chevron. Uche started building the house in Lagos sometime last year after building one in her village in Abia state. The house in Lagos is in the finishing stages now.

They said they have been sworn in as honorary Calgarians – an honour bestowed on foreigners who have done very well in their chosen field. They were presented with official white hats after the ceremony.
Calgary is the largest city in southern Alberta, Canada and it’s citizens are called Calgarians. Congrats to them.

9ice was studying Law at the Lagos State University before lack of funds took charge, then he took to music where he has prospered. But the Gongo Aso hit maker revealed in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune that he has returned back to school to chase his dream of becoming a lawyer.

8yr old Yemeni childbride dies of internal injuries after sex

 

An eight-year-old child bride has died in Yemen of internal bleeding sustained during her wedding night after being forced to marry a man five times her age, activists have claimed. 

The girl, identified only as Rawan, died in the tribal area of Hardh in northwestern Yemen, which borders Saudi Arabia. Activists are now calling for the groom, who is believed to be around 40 years old, and her family to be arrested so they can face justice in the courts.


They say arrests would help put a stop to the practice of marrying very young girls to older men in the impoverished region.
Angry Man, a blogger, posted that the man was 'an animal who deserved to be punished severely for his crime'.
'All those who supported such a crime should also be punished,' he added.
