Patience Jonathan warns Nigerians!


First Lady, Patience Jonathan has warned Nigerians to stop insulting her husband, saying that God Himself made him the president of the country.

Mrs. Jonathan handed this warning while addressing children at an event she organised to mark the 2014 Children’s Day at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Making reference to the Bible, she noted trhat God’s instruction to mankind to honour their parents was not limited to biological parents.

More voices were added to the snowballing iPhone 6 discourse, its 2014 release date supposedly gaining more ground as a new render and fresh details defining the hotly-anticipated handset came out.

Even as the tech giant is keeping most of the next iPhone details locked in secrecy, analysts are convinced that two models of the iOS-powered smartphone are scheduled for unboxing - a 4.7-inch build that will replace the 4-inch iPhone 5S and a 5.5-inch edition that is set to tussle with the likes of Galaxy Note 4 and LG G3.
It is precisely the new supersize screens that will lure new and existing Apple fans to any of the two iPhone 6 models, investment firm UBS Securities said in a new research note. Apple will surely witness a blockbuster launch for its 5S sequel, Apple Insider reported UBS as saying. read more

Utah High School Alters Yearbook Photos to Show Less Skin

The superintendent of the Utah school district where female students' yearbook photos were edited to show less skin says he is only sorry that the school district did not edit students' photos on a more consistent basis.



"We only apologize in the sense that we want to be more consistent with what we`re trying to do in that sense we can help kids better prepare for their future by knowing how to dress appropriately for things," Terry E. Shoemaker, superintendent of schools for the Wasatch County School District, told TV station KSTU in Salt Lake City.

Nollywood stars march for missing Chibok girls

Some Nollywood stars including Chinedu Ikedieze, Thelma Okhaz, Mercy Aigbe and led by Patience Ozokwor, today May 29th took to the streets in support of missing Chibok girls. They marched from Allen Avenue to Alausa Secretariat where they met with the state House of Assembly Speaker, Hon Adeyemi Ikuforiji.
