The Heartbleed bug is serious. Disclosed less than two days ago, the Heartbleed bug has sent sites and services across the Internet into patch mode.

Heartbleed Bug: The latest Internet threat!


Heartbleed is an Internet threat that was recently revealed to have put the security of many popular websites at risk.
The Heartbleed encryption flaw has left many popular sites like Instagram, Facebook, Google and Yahoo vulnerable. These sites have recommended users change their passwords to protect their accounts.

The Heartbleed Bug is a serious vulnerability in the popular OpenSSL cryptographic software library. This weakness allows stealing the information protected, under normal conditions, by the SSL/TLS encryption used to secure the Internet. SSL/TLS provides communication security and privacy over the Internet for applications such as web, email, instant messaging (IM) and some virtual private networks (VPNs).
